Fakro Conservation Roof Windows are manufactured to a very high standard. They are designed to cater for traditional conservation style in areas of particular need.
All glazing exceeds current building regulation requirements. All conservation windows are made from high quality pinewood. The timber is double vacuum preservative treated and given a 2-coat matt finish lacquer, which requires no further decoration. Externally the timber components are covered with aluminium sections, which are coated with a UV and weather resistant coating. This coating is a traditional black colour.

Conservation Centre Pivot Roof Windows (FT/C) have all the technical advantages that the standard centre pivot roof window has but with the look of a traditional roof window.
Sizes:
Conservation Top Hung Emergency Escape Window (FEP/C) combines the traditional look of the conservation window with the means of escape qualities of the standard escape window. The window exceeds all current building regulation requirements and operates in both centre pivot and top hung mode.

Conservation Side Hung Means Of Escape Window (FW/C) is manufactured in both left and right hand versions (please specify when ordering). The large unobstructed dimensions of the sash enable easy access to the roof and comply with building regulations.

To enable the use of the side hung escape window in traditional areas, Fakro have developed a conservation side hung version, which incorporates the design criteria of certain authorities with the escape features of the standard window.
